No accounts. No tracking. No ads. Whisper Act has no servers of its own — your data lives on your device and in your private iCloud account.
Whisper Act does not create user accounts, does not operate any servers, and does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking data of any kind. The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracking.
Audio is recorded entirely on your device and used only to produce a text transcript. The audio file is deleted immediately after transcription completes and is never uploaded to any server by Whisper Act.
On supported devices running iOS 26, transcription runs entirely on-device using Apple's on-device speech engine. Your voice never leaves your phone in this path.
On other devices, transcription may use Apple's speech recognition servers — the same infrastructure that powers Siri and Dictation, governed by Apple's own privacy policy. Whisper Act does not receive or store the audio in this path.
When you are online, the transcript text — not the audio — is sent to a cloud AI service to identify tasks, reminders, and calendar events. The request contains only the transcript text and the current time. It is not linked to your name, Apple ID, device, or any identifier. The service does not store your transcripts.
When you are offline, extraction runs entirely on-device using built-in AI. No data leaves your phone.
All memos and tasks are stored in SwiftData on your device and synced to your private iCloud database. Whisper Act has no access to your iCloud data — it is stored in your personal Apple account, not ours. Reminders and calendar events are written directly to your device via Apple's EventKit framework and remain fully under your control inside Apple's apps.
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Whisper Act does not receive or store any payment information.

Whisper Act stores data only on your device and in your private iCloud account. Deleting the app removes all local data. You can also delete everything from within the app via Settings → Delete All Data.
Whisper Act is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
